CERGAS NOBLE SDN. BHD. is seeking a dedicated Trainer Chef to drive quality and consistency across our outlets in Sarawak.

The role focuses on delivering regular training on recipes, kitchen skills, and new menu launches, with a strong emphasis on standard adherence and continuous improvement. You will design creative training plans, monitor back-of-house training paths, support operations teams, and collaborate with Area Managers to implement corrective actions.

Competenze

• Diploma or Degree in Culinary studies.
• Minimum 2 years proven trainer chef experience; preference for chef background.

• To deliver regular planned training sessions of recipes and general kitchen skills including disciplines with the standard as required.
• To create and deliver training for all new menu launches for all involved outlets.
• To implement and complete specific training tasks/material as required.
• To identify weaknesses within the teams and work with the Area Manager on corrective actions for improvement.
• To develop a creative training plan and structure to support efficient and successful new openings.
• To manage and monitor back-of-house training paths and delivery based on schedule or on time.
• To support operations team and Area managers for kitchen section training.
• To perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

5. To identifying weaknesses within the teams and working with the Area Manager on the corrective action to be taken for improvement.

6. To develop a creative and innovative training plan and structure to support efficient and successful new openings.

7. To manage and monitor the back of house flow training paths and the deliverance based on the schedule or on time.

8. To support operations team and Area managers for the kitchen section or preparation training.

9. To perform any other duties as assigned by the Management.

Job / Skills Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Culinary studies.
• At least 2 years proven experience in a trainer chef role and preferable with 2 years’ experience in a chef role.
• Passionate and knowledgeable in Food preparation practice.
• Strong knowledge in various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and process.
• Well-versed in the operations of a kitchen.
• Good communication, well organize, time management and presentation skills
• Good team player and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must possess own transport and willing to travel.
