Job summary

Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Bangsar is seeking a passionate Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Malaysian classics, maintaining a clean workstation, and working with a collaborative team.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 23 kg, read/write basic math, and be fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Night, weekend, and holiday flexibility required. Hotel discounts and career progression offered by IHG.

Your day to day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

What we need from you

For you to be the ideal candidate, you should have the following:

• The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) which can also involve bending and kneeling
• A good grasp of reading, writing and basic mathematics
• The flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts
• Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol – you’ll need to be above the minimum age required and fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
