Job summary

CBRE Maintenance Technician role involves maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. You will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspections, assisting with installation and modification, reviewing work orders, supporting energy management, and ensuring safety and compliance with codes.

Qualifications

• Requires a Diploma or Degree with 1–2 years of related experience; combination of experience and education may be considered.
• Must have Chargeman certification.
• Meet the physical requirements, including climbing stairs/ladders and lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
