Job summary

Malaysia Airports invites applications for a maintenance technician responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring daily maintenance of the BHS electrical power system (LDB & MDB) to maximise availability and reliability of the facility.

The role covers preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance, site inspections, and data updates. You will support the Technical Executive on shift matters and ensure compliance with EMS, OHSAS, local regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in shifts and coordinate with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily maintenance of BHS electrical power system (LDB & MDB).
• Execute preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance to ensure high system availability.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, regulations and quality standards including EMS, OHSAS, and local regulations.
• Assist Technical Executive in shift work matters and spare-parts controllers matters.
• Support Maintenance related matters as required and assist CCR during system crisis.
• Responsible for yearly maintenance of MDB and LDB and ensure smooth operation during shifts.
• Verify contractor work complies with Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations.

To plan ,coordinate and monitor and execution of daily maintenance activity of BHS electrical power system (LDB & MDB) which include jod scheduling , site inspection , preventive maintenance , corrective maintenance and breakdown maintenance
and ensuring the works done are accordingly to the specified maintenance standards, best practices and quality so as to ensure the serviceability and reliability of facilities as well as operational efficiency and cost optimization.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Execute timely the operation and maintenance to ensure highest level of system availability and reliability.


• Abide by Companys policies, procedures, guidelines, local/international regulations and legislations, quality management system, EMS, OHSAS, Green Globe 21 and any other certifications.


• Assist trouble shooting efficiently and timely during any system crisis and emergency situation.


• Maintain technical data and inputs for continuous improvement action.


• To assist Technical Executive in Shift work matters.


• To assist Technical Executive Spare-parts controllers matters.


• To support Maintenance related matters as and when required


• 8. To support operation (CCR) during any system crisis and emergency situation.


• Responsible yearly maintenance of MDB and LDB


• To assist Maintenance Leader in ensuring BHS system smooth running during his shift;


• To assist Maintenance Leader in shift work matters;


• Overall execution of PPM activities ( MDB/LDB Check, Control Panel Check, etc);


• Monitoring of Tunnel ventilation system;


• Execution and monitoring of electrical breakdown maintenance;


• Supervisor M&E team when required : which involve electrical system.


• Assist Center Control Room ( CCR ) in system recovery when require


• Assist Maintenance Leader, Technical Executive and Engineer as and when require
