Job summary

Yee Lee Corporation Bhd. is seeking a Chargeman A4/B0 to oversee operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including 11kV.

The role ensures compliance with safety and Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements while leading preventive maintenance and coordinating with authorities. The ideal candidate will have a valid Chargeman A4 certificate and at least 5 years in high-voltage electrical maintenance, with hands-on experience and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Chargeman A4 Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical system maintenance and repair, particularly 11kV systems.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in high-voltage electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Good understanding of Malaysian electrical safety regulations and codes of practice.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts and be on call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise preventive maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of electrical systems, plant, machinery and equipment.
• Operate and maintain 11kV electrical systems, including inspection, troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
• Ensure electrical installations and maintenance activities comply with specifications, safety standards and Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements.
• Liaise with TNB, JBA, DOSH and relevant authorities on utilities, inspections and compliance matters.
• Monitor energy consumption, identify energy-saving opportunities and drive improvements to electrical systems.
• Ensure a safe working environment in accordance with EHS requirements.
• Prepare maintenance reports, equipment and spare parts inventories, and support scheduled maintenance planning.

Role Overview

Job Requirements

Must Have

Valid Chargeman A4 Certificate.

Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical system maintenance and repair, particularly 11kV systems.
