Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad is seeking a qualified boilerman to operate and maintain boiler equipment daily in our facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, document all activities, and assist with predictive maintenance to minimise unplanned shutdowns.

Responsibilities include preparing for DOSH/DOE inspections, housekeeping of the boiler room, troubleshooting breakdowns, and ensuring compliance with HSSE and LEAN initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Certificate (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) with relevant boiler operations focus.
• Certified Boilerman Grade 2 issued by DOSH is required.
• 4-6 years of hands-on boilerman experience in a facility environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate day-to-day boiler and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist predictive maintenance to minimise unplanned shutdowns.
• Record and update data related to boiler maintenance per regulatory requirements.
• Plan for DOSH/DOE inspections and ensure readiness.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of boiler room per work safety act.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and perform maintenance/rectification as needed.
• Support HSSE and LEAN programs and KPI achievement.
