Job summary

DFINITI Technologies specializes in designing and engineering complete process heating systems and equipment for industries like Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Offshore and Marine. The company provides electrically powered heaters and thermal solutions.

We are seeking a certification specialist to coordinate applications, testing, and renewal activities, ensuring all documents and records meet regulatory standards across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics engineering or related technical discipline.
• Must possess Ex competency and knowledge for product certification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product certification.
• Good knowledge of IECEx, ATEX and IEC 60079 standards.
• Experience coordinating with Ex certification bodies and laboratories.
• Strong documentation, coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and liaise with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate certification applications, testing, documentation and renewal activities to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
• Identify applicable product certification standards, regulatory requirements and approval processes based on product specifications and target markets.
• Liaise with certification bodies, regulatory authorities, testing laboratories and external parties on certification matters.
• Coordinate product testing, technical assessments, inspections and certification applications.
• Monitor certification progress and follow up to ensure timely completion.
• Support certification renewals, amendments and extensions as required.
• Maintain and update certification records, certificates, technical documents and approval status.
• Establish and maintain a systematic certification database with certificate validity, expiry dates and renewal requirements.
• Monitor changes in certification standards and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance for all products.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections related to product certification.
• Work with Engineering, Quality, Production, Project and Sales to obtain required technical information for certification applications.
• Undertake any Technical/R&D tasks as required.

• To support the Company's existing and new product certification requirements by coordinating certification applications, testing, documentation and renewal activities. Ensure all product certifications, technical records and compliance documents are properly maintained and updated to meet applicable regulatory, industry and customer requirements.
• Identify applicable product certification standards, regulatory requirements and approval processes based on product specifications and target markets.
• Liaise with certification bodies, regulatory authorities, testing laboratories and relevant external parties on product certification matters.

• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, Project and Sales departments to obtain the necessary technical information and documentation for certification applications.
• To undertake any task pertaining to Technical/R&D as and when required.

Requirements
