Job summary

Qualifications

• Four to five years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma plus further courses or an equivalent mix.
• Must possess site-defined certifications.
• Knowledge of board assembly, soldering specs, and SMT processes.
• Ability to set up and operate assembly and hand soldering equipment.
• Strong communication with internal and external customers.
• Familiarity with Word, Excel and docs control systems.

Responsibilities

• Acts as lead and problem solver, balances personnel and moves product through area.
• Monitors the conduct, performance and contribution of cell members.
• Performs manual assembly, automated assembly, hand soldering, testing, and inspection.
• Monitors quantity and quality and leads teams to meet goals.
• Compiles data and generates reports on cell performance.
• Possesses foundation skills and leadership capabilities.
• Must possess certifications as defined by site operations.
• Knowledge of board assembly process and SMT flow.
• Ability to set up, operate, and maintain assembly equipment.
• Ability to recognize problems in assembly processes and address them.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Work with team to achieve high quality production within deadlines.
• Knowledge of Word, Lotus Notes, Excel and documentation control systems.
