Nando's Chickenland Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing for food and non-food categories, drive cost savings, and ensure halal, safety, and compliance across the supply chain.

You will collaborate with Operations, Demand Planning, QA and Finance, manage supplier performance, and coordinate with logistics partners to ensure on-time, cost-efficient procurement across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak, and Singapore.

Qualificações

• Degree in F&B, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of procurement/purchasing experience in F&B.
• Knowledge of halal compliance and food safety.
• Strong costing, numbers, and data analysis skills.
• Excellent planning, organization, negotiation, and communication.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and manage procurement for food and non-food items to ensure cost efficiency and reliable supply.
• Forecast demand by reviewing sales data and market trends for inventory planning.
• Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers for pricing and compliance with halal and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Operations, Demand Planning, QA, and Finance to align purchasing with budget.
• Coordinate with logistics partners on inbound delivery, cold-chain handling, warehousing, distribution.
• Track supplier performance, drive cost-saving initiatives, and reduce supply chain risks.

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage sourcing for both food (trade) and non-food (non-trade) categories, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and reliable supply. This role will work closely with internal teams and external partners to support demand planning, manage suppliers, coordinate logistics, and ensure all purchases meet halal, safety, and compliance standards. You will play a key role in driving cost-saving initiatives, improving supplier performance, and ensuring smooth end-to-end supply flow.

A Day in Life:

Plan and manage procurement for food and non-food items to ensure good quality, reliable supply, and cost efficiency.

Forecast demand by reviewing sales data, promotions, and market trends to support smooth inventory planning.

Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and ensure halal, safety, and quality compliance.

Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Demand Planning, QA, Finance) to align purchasing with business needs and budget.

Coordinate with logistics partners (4PL) on inbound delivery, cold-chain handling, warehousing, and distribution.

Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies, legal requirements, and audit standards.

Track supplier performance and procurement KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Lead cost-saving initiatives, manage contracts, and reduce supply chain risks.

Degree in F&B, Business Administration, or related field

At least 5 years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably in the F&B industry

Knowledge of halal compliance and food safety is a plus

Strong in costing, numbers & analysis

Able to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Excellent planning & organization

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

A team player with solid interpersonal skills & work cross-functionally

Project management experience is a plus

Familiar with F&B supply chain and operations

Willingness to travel across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah & Sarawak, and Singapore
