Job summary

Ban Hin Bee Sdn Bhd in George Town, Penang, is seeking a cashier to manage payments, issue receipts and maintain records with accuracy. You will greet customers, ensure transactions are correctly recorded and keep the cashier area tidy, supporting smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate has at least SPM, basic Excel skills, strong numerical abilities, and communication in Bahasa Malaysia plus English or Mandarin. Training is provided and staff benefit programs apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to use basic Microsoft Excel for data entry.
• Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English or Mandarin for client communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash, card, e-wallet and other payments accurately.
• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Record receipts, invoices and financial transactions correctly.
• Keep cashier area neat and organized.
• Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation and POS settlement.
