Job summary

Eco-Shop Marketing Berhad (Retail) is seeking a friendly cashier to assist customers, handle transactions, and maintain stock and cleanliness at Auto City, Perai, Penang. You will balance cash, operate the POS, and provide a positive shopping experience daily.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math, good communication, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School/SPM/Diploma or equivalent with basic math
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
• Attention to detail for handling transactions and monitoring stock
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures
• Strong communication skills for engaging with customers
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with purchases and addressing inquiries
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and balance the cash drawer
• Accurately handle transactions, manage the cash register, and monitor stock effectively
• Check counter equipment daily and report any issues for repair or replacement
• Keep the counter clean, tidy, and hygienic to ensure a pleasant shopping experience
• Monitor and replenish counter stock, to avoid shortages
