Job summary

Eco-Shop in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, seeks a frontline Retail Counter Associate to assist customers, handle transactions, and maintain stock levels. The role trains in daily cash handling, consumer inquiries, and counter hygiene while supporting a busy retail floor.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, with basic math, strong communication, and a willingness to work shifts including weekends and public holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School/SPM/Diploma or equivalent with basic math.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Attention to detail for handling transactions and monitoring stock.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with customers.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Willing to work at Alpinia, Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with purchases and inquiries.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and balance the cash drawer.
• Monitor and replenish counter stock; ensure stock is available.
• Check counter equipment daily and report issues for repair or replacement.
• Keep the counter clean, tidy, and hygienic for a pleasant shopping experience.
• Monitor stock levels and prevent shortages.
