Ria Money Transfer is seeking a Cashier in Retail Operations in Kuantan, Malaysia. You will provide frontline customer service, process transactions such as money transfers and currency exchange, and ensure accurate records in compliance with procedures.

The role requires a fresh graduate with SPM or higher, ability to work weekends, basic MS Word/Excel, and good cash handling and customer service skills. Benefits include EPF/SOCSO, medical coverage, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face to face to process products like money transfers, money orders, currency exchange.
• Accurately verify or enter the customer information on systems.
• Answer inquiries about services and locate other Ria locations.
• Balance cash register and prepare cash for bank deposit.
• Prepare daily transaction records and perform other duties as assigned.

About This Role

As a Cashier, in Retail Operations, your role will be providing frontline customer service by processing transactions, handling inquiries, ensuring accurate records, and supporting daily operations in compliance with company procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face to face to receive and process all of Ria’s products such as money transfers, money orders, selling and buying foreign currency.
• Accurately verify or enter the customer’s information on our systems.
• Courteously assist customers with various inquiries such as questions about our services, service cancellations or other Ria locations.
• Recognize problems, issues or complaints during queries and propose solutions or **escalate** to the management team.
• Keep up to date with Ria’s products, services, and policies.
• Balance your cash register and prepare cash for bank deposit.
• Prepare your daily transactions record.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested by your colleagues and superiors.
