Job summary

Elderlove Living Care & Rehabilitation Centre is seeking a dedicated Elderly Caregiver for a full-time position to provide compassionate, respectful daily care to our residents. You will collaborate with nurses, doctors, and therapists to ensure comfort, dignity, and happiness for every resident.

Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided. Malaysian residents only. Shift work including weekends and public holidays may be required to maintain continuous care.

Qualifications

• Experience in elderly care or caregiving preferred.
• Fresh graduates welcome; training provided.
• Must be compassionate, patient and responsible.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit to assist residents with mobility.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Malaysian only.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Monitor residents' health and report changes to the nursing team.
• Assist with medication under nurses' supervision when required.
• Support residents during meals, rehab exercises and social activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and therapists to provide person-centred care.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful team culture.

What you'll be doing

• Providing emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to promote residents' physical and mental wellbeing.
• Working closely with nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide person-centred care.
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to improve caregiving skills.
• Contributing to a positive, respectful, and supportive team culture.

What we're looking for

• Malaysian ONLY.
• Experience in elderly care, nursing home, hospital, healthcare, or caregiving is preferred.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with no experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided.
• Compassionate, patient, and responsible with a genuine passion for caring for the elderly.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to assist residents with mobility and daily care activities.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
