Jora Malaysia is seeking care staff to attend to the daily needs of residents in the home, helping with daily living tasks and ensuring their comfort and safety. You will be responsive with empathy and keep to the home's schedule.
You will record residents' progress, assist with bathing, meals, and communicate with nurses. The role requires attentiveness to hygiene and teamwork with cleaners and cooks.

1. To attend to and care for the daily needs of the residents in the home.
2. To assist the residents to perform their daily living tasks and self-care skills.
3. Be responsive to the residents with caring and empathetic attitudes.
4. Be mindful of the schedule of the home and each resident, especially for meals and bath.
5. Assist the residents in the bath routine.
6. Monitors and records residents’ progress, and continuous assessment of their physical and mental health - reporting to the nurses or attending physicians.
7. Ensures cleanliness and hygiene of residents and the home.
8. Assists the physiotherapist when the resident is being attended to by the physiotherapist.
9. Supervises the cleaners wherever needed to clean up and immediately clean up.
10. Keeps the cook informed of food requirements of the residents, especially on special specific health conditions.
11. To attend to inquiries when the families visit the residents.
