Job summary

ECON Healthcare Group in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated nursing care assistant for the Puchong location to work under the Nurse-in-Charge and support daily care for residents in a nursing home setting.

Walk-in or virtual interviews are available. Three shifts are offered, with training provided. Experience is not required, and commitment to a clean, safe, and compassionate environment is essential.

Qualifications

• No healthcare experience required.
• Willingness to work in a nursing home environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Nurse-in-Charge/Staff Nurse with daily nursing care activities.
• Attend to residents' oral hygiene, bathing and grooming.
• Change bed linen and tidy beds and lockers.
• Assist residents with feeding and activities of daily living.
• Turn, position, lift and move residents as needed.
• Serve meals and clear after meals.
• Conduct daily exercises for residents.
• Respond to resident call-bells and assist as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and neat nursing home environment.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Responsible to the Nurse-In-Charge/Staff Nurse in all nursing care related activities and to the Supervisor for the daily cleaning activities.

Assist in carrying out various basic care activities for the resident

Attend to their oral hygiene, bathing and grooming

Changing of bed linen and tidying of beds and lockers.

Feeding those who require help with activities of daily living.

Turning and positioning.

Lifting, moving and transporting.

Serving of meals and drinks to the residents and clear all cutlery, tables and linens after every meal

Conduct daily exercise for the residents.

Answering of resident’s call-bell and gives assistance within the constraints of his/her responsibilities.

Help to maintain a clean, safe and neat environment for the residents in the nursing home/center.

Perform any additional duties as assigned by the registered nurse/supervisor/manager.
