Job summary

AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Executive – Card Authorization. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. You will handle card authorizations, monitor fraud alerts, and ensure accurate reporting while supporting customer and merchant inquiries.

Requirements include a finance/business degree and 1–3 years in card operations. The role requires knowledge of card systems and the ability to work a 24/7 rotational shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in card operations, transaction processing, or a related role in financial services. Fresh graduates welcome.
• Strong knowledge of card and authorization systems.
• Familiarity with fraud detection tools and techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with transaction management software.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work on rotational shift 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Authorize on-us/not on-us authorisation requests, authorisation cancellation and reversal.
• Handle credit card easy payment, balance transfer, ATM/CDM terminal monitoring, points redemption.
• Proactively review and monitor online fraud alert system to mitigate fraud loss.
• Provide sound judgement when bypassing to overwrite system response.
• Attend to customer and transaction verification triggered from Fraud Alert or referrals.
• Source daily data compilation for MIS and management monthly reports.
• Attend to customer and merchant enquiries on products/facilities.
• Block lost or stolen cards and manage hold, block release and replacement.
• Perform force authorisation within exceptional requests.
• Ensure daily reports requirements are properly executed.
