Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an automotive repair technician to join our service team in Klang. The candidate must hold MLVK Level 3 Certification in Automotive Engineering, have a valid driving license, and at least 2 years of experience in car repair, including after-sales work.

The role requires familiarity with car workshop workflows, diagnostic tools, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering reliable, quality repairs and clear maintenance estimates to customers.

Qualifications

• Must hold MLVK Level 3 Certification in Automotive Engineering.
• Must have a valid driving license.
• Familiar with car workshop workflow.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in automotive car repair.
• Experience in after-sales car repair.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

• Proficient with diagnostic tools and automotive machinery.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Prepare reports with professional comments for Body & Paint team to understand vehicle problems.
• Inspect machines, engines, transmissions and run diagnostic tests to identify issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as replacing fluids and lubricating parts for vehicle longevity.
• Conduct vehicle test drives to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Repair or replace damaged parts to ensure reliability.
• Provide accurate estimates for repair or maintenance (cost, time, effort).
• Keep logs of work issued and equipment maintained.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.

• Doing report and the Body & Paint technical team professional comment of issues and symptoms on the vehicle for better understand what the vehicle problem is.
• Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Conduct vehicle test drive to to identify for troubleshooting & rectification works
• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
• Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use.
• Repair or replace damage or dysfunctional parts and fix issues.
• Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or
• maintenance job.
• Keep logs on work issued and gathered outlined clearly.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
