Job summary

EY Malaysia is seeking an Assurance Manager in Capital Markets to provide audit and advisory services for clients pursuing transformational strategies, including US IPOs. You will support internal controls improvements and transitions to IFRS or US GAAP, while upholding audit quality expectations.

The role requires strong technical accounting skills, PCAOB/audit experience, and the ability to train teams and engage with senior client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or ACCA affiliate.
• Experience auditing US-listed companies with extensive knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
• In-depth technical knowledge of PCAOB audits and SEC reporting.
• Strong communication and project management skills; willingness to travel.
• Hands-on experience in a globally recognized audit firm; experience with capital raising clients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver audit and non-audit services for clients developing capital market strategies.
• Support audit teams to deliver audits under PCAOB and local standards.
• Deliver training on audit standards and methodologies, including digital transformation.
• Expand network by building relationships with senior client stakeholders and legal counsel.
