Job summary

Christine's Bakery in Kuala Lumpur is hiring for a café role. Join our team to greet customers, prepare beverages, take orders, and ensure a clean dining area in a fast-paced setting.

The position requires a minimum SPM and a positive, hardworking attitude with willingness to learn and support different kitchen sections.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Prior kitchen or F&B experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene practices.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to follow instructions and standard recipes accurately.
• Positive attitude, good teamwork skills, and willingness to learn and support different kitchen sections.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers warmly while delivering excellent customer service.
• Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards.
• Take customer orders accurately and handle payments efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café, bar counter, equipment, and dining area.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
• Assist with stock replenishment, inventory checking, and storage organization.
• Support daily opening, closing, and cleaning duties of the outlet.
• Follow company SOPs, food safety, and health & safety regulations at all times.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain professional grooming, punctuality, and a positive working attitude.
