Job summary

Nutto Foods Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, invites applications for a frontline retail and café operative. You will operate the cashier counter, welcome customers, explain product features and health benefits, and help increase sales through thoughtful recommendations.

You will also maintain the retail area, ensure stock is fully displayed, clean, and arranged by FIFO, monitor stock levels, count stock, and support basic café operations when required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a cashier and handling cash.
• Ability to explain product features and health benefits to customers.
• Experience maintaining display shelves and stock counts.
• Willingness to assist in café operations and food/service tasks.
• Able to work on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate cashier counter with daily sales reconciliation.

• Maintain retail displays, ensure stock is fully displayed, clean, and arranged by FIFO.

• Operate the cashier counter, including opening, closing, cash handling, and daily sales reconciliation.
• Welcome and serve customers professionally by explaining product features, health benefits, and recommending suitable products to increase sales.
• Maintain the retail sales area by ensuring products are well displayed, fully stocked, clean, and arranged according to FIFO (First In, First Out).
• Monitor retail stock levels, perform stock counting, assist with stock ordering, and ensure inventory records are accurate.
• Prepare and serve beverages and assist with basic café operations when required.
• Assist in taking customer orders, serving food and drinks, clearing tables, and maintaining a clean and pleasant dining environment.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bayan Lepas: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
