Job summary

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Manager, Project to support the Director of Design & Construction in managing the overall project delivery, including new cafe openings, revamps, and ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities include developing cost-effective plans and schedules, site supervision, coordinating with designers and main contractor, liaising with authorities, and ensuring quality policy compliance across all projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior architecture and design is required.
• 6+ years of project and design experience in the retail industry.
• Experience in business development is an advantage.
• Proven ability to work in unstructured environments and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost-effective plan and detailed work schedules for project completion.
• Conduct site supervision to ensure timely delivery.
• Liaise with authorities, designers, and main contractor to ensure compliance and permits.
• Coordinate site arrangements and on-site facilities with designers and contractors.
• Ensure quality policy and specifications are met across projects.
• Manage Defect Liability Period coordination and defect rectification as needed.
• Complete administrative tasks as required by Head of Project.
