Jacobs Solutions Inc. is seeking a Cable Engineer to contribute to the design and delivery of high-voltage transmission cable projects across Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.

You will support engineering calculations, analyses and documentation while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in the ASEAN region. The role offers hands-on project exposure, mentoring, and a pathway to develop specialist expertise in cable systems and underground transmission networks within a growing power

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or related discipline.
• Exposure to power system studies, transmission design, cable systems or substations is favourable.
• Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering and a passion for transmission infrastructure.

What Will Help You Thrive

We're keen to meet engineers who are curious, eager to learn, and passionate about power transmission infrastructure. While not every requirement is essential, exposure to the following areas will help you make an immediate impact:

• An understanding of Extra High Voltage (EHV) cable systems, transmission networks, power systems, substations (GIS and AIS), and large-scale power interconnector projects.
• Experience using CYMCAP for cable rating and thermal analysis.
• Familiarity with engineering and design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and OpenRoads.
• An appreciation of the civil and structural considerations associated with underground and overhead cable infrastructure projects.
• The ability to interpret technical information and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• A genuine interest in expanding your knowledge of transmission engineering and developing specialist expertise in cable systems.
