Job summary

HIJAU UNGU ENTERPRISE in Puncak Alam, Selangor is seeking an experienced Assistant of Cabinet Installer to join our team on a contract basis. You will support senior installers in measuring, assembling, and installing cabinetry for residential and commercial clients.

Responsibilities include handling materials safely, preparing sites, and assisting with alignment, hardware installation, and on-site clean-up. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
• Interest in carpentry, cabinet making, or trades work.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced installers.
• A valid driving licence is advantageous.
• Prior experience in carpentry or cabinet installation is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting senior cabinet installers with measurement, preparation, and installation of cabinets.
• Transporting cabinet materials and equipment safely to installation sites.
• Preparing installation areas by clearing spaces and protecting surfaces.
• Assisting with the assembly of cabinet components and fixtures.
• Supporting the leveling, securing, and alignment of cabinets using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Installing cabinet hardware, handles, hinges, and other fittings under supervision.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment during and after installation projects.
• Following health and safety regulations and protocols at all times on site.
• Communicating effectively with team members and customers to ensure smooth project completion.
• Assisting with minor repairs and adjustments to installed cabinetry.
