Job summary

HIJAU UNGU ENTERPRISE in Puncak Alam, Selangor, seeks an Assistant of Cabinet Installer on a contract basis. You will support experienced installers, measure, prepare, and install cabinets for residential and commercial properties under supervision.

Responsibilities include transporting materials, preparing work areas, assembling components, installing hardware, and maintaining safety standards. This role offers hands-on carpentry exposure and growth within the cabinetry trades.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness to lift and carry heavy materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior cabinet installers with measurement, preparation, and installation of cabinets in residential and commercial properties.

• Support levelling, securing, and alignment of cabinets using appropriate tools.
• Install cabinet hardware, handles, hinges, and fittings under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organised work environment during and after installations.
• Follow health and safety regulations on site at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure smooth project completion.
• Assist with minor repairs and adjustments to installed cabinetry.

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant of Cabinet Installer to join the team at HIJAU UNGU ENTERPRISE. This is a contract position based in Puncak Alam, Selangor. In this role, you will support our experienced cabinet installers in delivering high-quality cabinetry solutions to our clients. You will be instrumental in ensuring that installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in the carpentry and cabinet-making industry whilst working alongside skilled professionals.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting senior cabinet installers with the measurement, preparation, and installation of cabinets in residential and commercial properties
• Transporting and handling cabinet materials and equipment safely to and from installation sites
• Preparing installation areas by clearing spaces and protecting existing structures and surfaces
• Assisting with the assembly of cabinet components and fixtures prior to installation
• Supporting the levelling, securing, and alignment of cabinets using appropriate tools and techniques
• Installing cabinet hardware, handles, hinges, and other fittings under supervision
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment during and after installation projects
• Following health and safety regulations and protocols at all times on site
• Communicating effectively with team members and customers to ensure smooth project completion
• Assisting with minor repairs and adjustments to installed cabinetry
