Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in control and instrumentation or automation systems.
• Experience in power plant, renewable energy or industrial projects is an advantage.
• Familiar with communication protocols.
• Familiar with SCADA systems, field instrumentation and communication protocols
• Willing to be based at project site in Perak

Responsibilities

Malakoff Corporation Berhad is seeking a C&I Engineer to support control and instrumentation activities for our LSS5+ Utility Scale Solar Project (470MW) in Perak. The role will ensure proper installation, integration and testing of control systems and instrumentation for plant monitoring and operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and commissioning of control and instrumentation systems for the solar power plant
• Monitor installation of SCADA systems, sensors, meters and communication systems
• Review technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation related to C&I works
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and project teams to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Support testing, calibration and commissioning activities for instrumentation and control systems
• Assist in troubleshooting issues related to control systems and instrumentation
• Maintain documentation and reports related to C&I activities
