Job summary

Experian in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Product Engineer - PHP for a 12 months contract. You will be involved in full SDLC and support to system users while driving continuous improvements.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience in systems design, strong PHP/MySQL skills, and familiarity with CodeIgniter, MVC, and AWS. On-site work in Kuala Lumpur with hybrid collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Degree / Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' experience in systems design and software implementation.
• Strong front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) and back-end (PHP, MySQL).
• Experience with AWS, CodeIgniter, and MVC architecture.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs with XML/JSON; knowledge of Agile, SCRUM, and SDLC.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools, security best practices, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to full SDLC and support system users.
• Collaborate with team to mature support, driving improvements and efficiencies.
• Lead module development activities and coordinate integration/testing.
• Develop and deploy software applications with adherence to standards.

Involve in R&D, design, implementation, integration, testing and deployment of software application You will be conducting, leads and coordination a specific application module development activity What We're Looking for Must possess a Degree / Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent. Seniority will be commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications. At least 2 years' experience in systems design and the implementation of software. Strong proficiency in modern front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, along with back-end skills in PHP and MySQL. Familiarity with AWS services is also required. Experience with CodeIgniter, and MVC architecture Experience on developing Restful API with XML / JSON. Good understanding of Agile, SCRUM, SDLC and software design concepts. Familiarity using AI tools for coding help, documentation, or automation is a plus. Knowledge in JIRA / Bitbucket / Jenkins / Static Code Security are an advantage. Understanding security principles & best practices (e.g., OWASP Top Ten) in web application development. Experience writing unit tests and integration tests (xUnit or similar).
