FLEXTRONICS TECHNOLOGY (PENANG) SDN BHD in Shah Alam, Malaysia is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (ERP Finance) to drive finance systems projects and collaborate with global teams. The role focuses on Baan Finance modules, requirements gathering, testing, and go-live readiness.

Ideal candidates have a Finance qualification with 3–5 years in Finance Operations, and hands-on ERP experience in Baan 5 and LN, including month-end close and post-live support. Travel across APAC may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Finance diploma, Degree, Professional Course (eg ACCA, CIMA, LCCI etc)
• 3-5 years working experience in Finance Operations
• Experience in the Finance Month End Closing process
• System Application / ERP experience in Finance Module (Baan 5 and LN most preferred)

Responsibilities

• Scoping exercise to gather requirements from project sites.
• Training of Key users on the use of Baan in general and the Finance module in specific.
• Design processes that will adhere to Corp Finance Requirements.
• Conduct a testing session with the user on the use of Baan and related sub-systems.
• Setup of system and master data for go-live migration; post-live support.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add aBusiness Systems Analyst (ERP Finance systems)located inShah Alam, Kuala Lumpur.

What a typical day looks like:

• Scoping exercise to find out the current environment and gather requirements from project sites.

• Training of Key users on the use of Baan in general and the Finance module in specific and related sub-systems.

• Design processes that will adhere to Corp Finance Requirements.

• Conduct a testing session with the user on the use of Baan application and other sub-systems.

• Conduct testing on development solutions that are requested for the project you are working on.

• Setup of system and master data for go-live migration, may include liaising with multiple expert teams on the setup of various sub-systems.

• Perform post-live support.

• Attend global meetings relevant to implementation - since it is global, may involve after-office / evening/ night meetings.

• Attend training on systems, products, processes etc - local or global - mainly relevant to your job scope.

• Join developments, solution team as part of GI as advisor, SME, POC, testing, verification etc.

• Depending on the situation, project size, and resource availability, there will be times you may need to assume the Project Manager role.

• Travel to sites is required which the area of responsibilities includes (but not limited) to China, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other Asia Pacific countries where Flex has a site.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Graduate in Finance diploma, Degree, Professional Course (eg ACCA, CIMA, LCCI etc)

• 3-5 years working experience in Finance Operations

• Experience in the Finance Month End Closing process

• System Application / ERP experience in Finance Module (Baan 5 and LN most preferred)
