Job summary

VAT Group in Batu Kawan, Malaysia, is seeking a Business Process Analyst focused on Manufacturing and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes. You will document, model, and optimize end-to-end workflows using BPMN notation and a BPMN-tool to improve visibility, efficiency, and governance.

Collaborating with stakeholders across the supply chain, you will validate process changes, maintain centralized documentation, and drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, and agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; master's is a plus.
• 3+ years in business process management, documentation, or related roles.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Experience driving process improvements in NPI and manufacturing.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban workflows.
• Experience with task management tools such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Planner, Jira.
• Familiarity with Design for manufacturing and BPMN notation.

Responsibilities

As a Business Process Analyst with a focus on Manufacturing and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes. You will play a crucial role in documenting, analyzing, and optimizing our Manufacturing and NPI operations. Your expertise in process modeling and documentation will be essential in enhancing efficiency, visibility, and compliance within the NPI and manufacturing process. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and process owners to create detailed process maps and ensure accurate representation of product and NPI process in the BPMN-tool.

Your Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

Process Documentation and Modelling:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and process owners to understand and document existing processes using BPMN notation.


• Create detailed process maps, workflows, and diagrams that accurately represent the end-to-end processes and related activities.


• Ensure that all process documentation is clear, consistent, and follows best practices in BPMN modelling.

Process Analysis And Optimization

• Analyse the documented processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.


• Work with cross-functional teams to propose process optimizations and enhancements using BPMN-tool capabilities.


• Validate process changes with stakeholders and ensure that process improvements align with organizational goals.

BPMN-Tool Management

• Utilize BPMN-tool to create, update, and maintain process documentation in a centralized and accessible manner.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates of the BPMN-tool and identify opportunities to leverage new functionalities.


• Train team members and stakeholders on using the BPMN-tool effectively for process documentation and analysis.


• Process Governance and Compliance:


• Ensure that all documented processes adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.


• Implement version control and change management protocols to maintain the accuracy and integrity of process documentation.


• Collaborate with the various supply chain teams to validate process adherence and identify areas for improvement.

Continuous Improvement

• Act as a champion for process excellence, promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the organization


• Identify opportunities to automate processes or integrate other technology solutions to streamline workflows.


• Monitor industry trends and best practices related to BPMN and process documentation to drive ongoing improvements.

Key Performance Indicator (KPIs)

• Business Process project competition in time, quality & cost according to requirements

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.


• Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in business process management, process documentation, or related roles.


• Fluent English


• Experience driving process improvements in the area of NPI and Manufacturing


• Working experience as a Process Analyst / Project Manager / Manufacturing Engineer / NPI Engineer


• Experience to operate or roll out Agile methodology, scrum methodology and Kanban board for the team.


• Experience to use task management software such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft planner, Jira, Agile software


• Experience with Design for manufacturing concept and process (DFM).


• Strong proficiency in BPMN notation and experience using BPMN-tools for process modeling (e.g., Bizagi, Signavio, Camunda, etc.).


• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities through data analysis.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present complex concepts.


• Project management skills to handle multiple process documentation projects simultaneously.


• Understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Business Process Reengineering (BPR).


• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements related to business processes.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience facilitating and moderating process mapping & improvement workshop


• Familiarity with any ERP system preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365


• ERP integration for new ERP system roll out


• Familiar with project management and Agile methodologies.


• Consulting background preferred
