Job summary

Lumileds is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence & Reporting Systems Manager to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that support global Supply Chain processes. You will lead enterprise reporting platforms, develop KPIs, and deliver data-driven insights to senior management across functions.

The role blends IT and business, requiring collaboration with stakeholders, driving standardization, and advancing predictive analytics and visualizations to support better decisions.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of experience in BI/analytics and reporting across supply chain
• Experience designing data warehouses and dimensional models
• Strong SQL, OLAP, and ETL capabilities for enterprise reporting
• Proven ability to communicate complex insights to senior management
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau) and SAP BW is preferred
• PM certification or experience with stakeholder management is advantageous

You are a driven Business Intelligence & Reporting Systems Manager with excellent project management skills, communication and conceptual skills (optimization, analysis, integration, vision and sense of reality). You are capable of convincing Senior Management, managing different types and levels of stakeholders, and dealing with pushback. You possess the ability to set the right priorities and translate supply chain problems into tangible solutions. You are required to be analytical, have a strong knowledge and background in data mining and business analysis, and an excellent communicator. Ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system with visualizations to help us make better decisions.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence & Reporting Systems Manager to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that supports across Supply Chain functions and turn business data into knowledge. This role will be global in scope covering all supply chain processes.

While a BI Developer role may traditionally be viewed as focused primarily on technology and systems, within Supply Chain BI the role extends well beyond the “IT” component into the “Business” domain. This broader scope creates valuable opportunities for analysts to develop both technical and commercial expertise, strengthening their long-term career prospects.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the development and management of enterprise reporting platforms and business intelligence solutions
• Establish project priorities, resource allocation, and performance objectives
• Present business insights and recommendations to management and leadership teams.
• Develop advanced analytics and KPI frameworks to improve business performance.
• Identify opportunities for predictive analytics, trend analysis, and operational intelligence.
• Drive standardization and harmonization of reports across functions and sites.
• Champion data-driven decision-making across the organization
• Evaluate and enhance existing BI systems, develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses when required.
• Facilitate supply chain process improvement projects by translating business needs into BI technical specifications.
• Design, develop and create visualizations and reports for requested projects with appropriate project management.
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms and databases to ensure continuity of reporting, troubleshoot and rectify data error, network or technically related BI challenges.

What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications):

• Project management experience with prior experience as a BI Developer.
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining.
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, e.g. SQL, Oracle, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
• Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Tableau desktop, Tableau server, SAP BW).
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
• Project Management and Stakeholder Management.
• Good understanding on Change Management.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Master's degree is an advantage

Field of Study

• Operational Research, Industrial Engineering, IT, Computer Science or a relevant field

Years of Experience (Minimum)

• 7 - 9 years

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP experience.
• Experience in using AI is advantageous.
• Database: SQL, Oracle, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
• PMP or relevant Project Management certification will be advantageous.
