Job summary

Razer Merchant Services Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive Business Development / Project Coordination specialist in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

You will support client communications, coordinate stakeholders, track timelines, and drive strategic initiatives with AI and automation to boost reporting and efficiency. In this role you will maintain sales and project pipelines, prepare presentations, and ensure timely follow‑ups on action items while collaborating with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support for client communications, business development initiatives, sales opportunities, and strategic projects by coordinating stakeholders, tracking timelines, deliverables, and action items.
• Maintain project documentation, sales pipelines, and management reports while preparing presentations, proposals, and meeting materials.
• Utilise AI and automation tools to streamline administrative, reporting, and analytical processes, while providing essential human coordination, follow-up, and judgement.
• Identify process improvements and support the Business Development team in enhancing operational efficiency and overall project execution.
• Coordinate client and partner communications, manage follow‑ups, and ensure timely closure of outstanding action items.
• Track multiple business development and strategic project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure key stakeholders remain aligned and deadlines are met.
• Support ongoing business development initiatives by tracking opportunities, partnership discussions, merchant onboarding, and project progress.
• Maintain structured sales and project pipelines, follow up on outstanding requirements, and prepare regular progress updates for management.
• Coordinate across internal teams, including Business Development, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Technology, to support key projects and business initiatives.
• Maintain action trackers and proactively identify delays, dependencies, and outstanding deliverables requiring escalation.
• Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and summary notes for internal management and external client meetings.
• Track post‑meeting action items and ensure timely follow‑up with responsible stakeholders.
• Utilise AI and automation tools to improve reporting, documentation, data analysis, presentation preparation, and administrative workflows.
• Identify opportunities to streamline repetitive processes while providing the necessary human coordination, stakeholder engagement, follow‑up, and judgement required to drive project completion.
• Identify operational gaps and recommend practical improvements to workflows, communication, and project coordination.
• Support the New Business team in implementing more efficient processes and improving overall execution.
