RHB Insurance Berhad (Mentakab Branch) seeks a motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth and profitability. You will manage agency, RHB Group, and direct portfolios while expanding market share and strengthening agency networks.

You will collaborate with underwriters, lead recruitment programs, and ensure regulatory compliance, working with a proactive, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
• Knowledge and/or experience in the insurance industry are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical skills with good knowledge of insurance products and market practices.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in formulating and implementing marketing strategies to maximize business potential through the Agency channel.
• Manage and grow agency, RHB Group, and direct business portfolios to improve productivity and profitability.
• Collaborate with underwriters on the acceptance of new risks within approved authority limits.
• Drive Agency Recruitment Programmes to strengthen and expand the agency force.
• Organize relationship enhancement activities to maintain engagement with agents and business partners.
• Conduct agency portfolio segmentation and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Review and monitor product portfolios to ensure competitiveness and market relevance.
• Identify market opportunities and develop structured marketing strategies to expand market share.
• Coordinate surveys and risk management programmes for Banca Retail clients.
• Monitor compliance with Credit Control policies, regulatory requirements, and Company guidelines.
• Ensure all business activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory guidelines and Company policies.
