Job summary

iFAST Capital Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Business Development (Insurance) Assistant Manager/Manager to develop and implement strategies to grow the insurance business across distribution channels.

The role involves managing relationships with insurance partners, coaching advisers, and driving digitalisation initiatives. The ideal candidate holds a degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Insurance or related field with 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication and stakeholder management,

Job description

Business Development (Insurance) Assistant Manager/Manager

Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to grow the insurance business across different distribution channels.

Manage relationships with insurance partners on products, campaigns, training, business opportunities and operational matters.

Support and coach advisers on product selection, quotations, case structuring and complex insurance cases, including joint client discussions where required.

Evaluate insurance products and market developments and develop product comparisons, sales concepts and adviser materials.

Coordinate and elevate new business, underwriting, policy servicing and claims matters with insurers.

Monitor insurance business performance, including sales, adviser productivity, insurer contribution and product mix, and provide insights to management.

Drive process improvement and digitalisation initiatives, including insurance tools, dashboards, SOPs and adviser knowledge resources.

Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant insurance operations.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.

3-5 years or more of relevant experience in insurance, financial advisory, bancassurance, or financial services.

Good knowledge of insurance products and end-to-end insurance processes.

Strong business development, analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

CFP or RFP certification is an advantage.
