The Branding People Sdn Bhd, a Malaysia-based digital marketing agency, is seeking a proactive Partnerships & Business Development professional to retain KOLs and talents, expand our network, and forge strategic partnerships that power content and marketing initiatives.

You’ll be responsible for retaining relationships with KOLs and talents, expanding our talent network, and developing partnerships that support our content and marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, communicating with people, spotting opportunities, negotiating partnerships, and turning ideas into action.

What You'll Be Crafting

• Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, talents, creators, and external partners.
• Proactively identify and approach new talents to expand our network and partnership opportunities.
• Lead conversations and negotiations with potential talents and partners, from initial outreach through to partnership confirmation.
• Coordinate with talents on content initiatives and ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
• Explore and develop content ideas and strategies based on social media trends, audience interests, and competitor activities.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential talent collaborations.
• Work closely with internal marketing and content teams to align talent partnerships with business objectives.

Your Superpowers

• At minimum of 1 year of working experience in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships, KOL/Influencer Management, Talent Management, Recruitment, Networking, or a similar relationship-driven role.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills, with confidence in approaching and engaging new people.
• Outgoing, personable, and comfortable meeting people, building rapport, and representing the company professionally.
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, both verbal and written.
• Proactive, outgoing, and naturally comfortable with networking and relationship building.
• Strategic and commercially minded, with the ability to identify opportunities, plan approaches, and turn ideas into action.
• Creative, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
