Job summary

Rentokil Initial Ipoh is seeking a dynamic Sales / Business Development professional to drive revenue and expand client partnerships in Perak. The role involves prospect generation, on-site inspections, and delivering tailored solutions to both B2B and B2C clients, while coordinating with operations and finance to ensure service excellence.

You will need strong negotiation and presentation skills, multi-lingual communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and the ability to travel to client

Qualifications

• Experience in B2C/B2B sales or business development, preferably in service industries.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Able to conduct hands-on on-site inspections at client premises.

Responsibilities

• Drive Revenue: achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly targets by proposing products and services at optimized pricing levels.
• Market Intelligence: understand market trends and competitor movements to position value propositions.
• Prospect Generation: develop a healthy sales pipeline and execute market development initiatives.
• Consultative Selling: conduct on-site inspections, deliver presentations, and propose tailored solutions.
• Customer Experience: be primary contact for new accounts; resolve client complaints per policy.
• Sales Administration: draft proposals, execute service agreements, maintain systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance.
• Agility: support broader business on ad-hoc projects.

Responsibility

• Drive Revenue: Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by proposing the company's products and services at optimized pricing levels.
• Market Intelligence: Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, industry benchmarks and competitor movements to effectively position Rentokil Initial’s unique value propositions.
• Prospect Generation: Actively prospect, develop a healthy sales pipeline and execute strategic market development initiatives.
• Consultative Selling: Conduct on-site inspections and client visits to assess needs, deliver presentations and propose tailored make solutions.
• Customer Experience: Act as the primary point of contact for new accounts; urgently resolve client complaints and handle customer’s queries in accordance with company policy.
• Sales Administration: Manage day-to-day administrative sales workflows, including drafting proposals, executing service agreements and maintaining the system.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance departments to ensure seamless service execution and collection of payment.
• Agility: Maintain flexibility to support the broader business on ad-hoc projects and urgent operational tasks as required.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record in B2C/ & B2B sales, business development, or outdoor sales (experience in service industries, pest control, or hygiene is a strong advantage).
• Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Attributes: Highly agile, resilient, and comfortable conducting hands-on on-site inspections at client premises.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable utilizing modern systems and mobile sales tools to track KPIs.
• Mobility: Possess a valid driver’s license and own transport for frequent client visits in outstations.

• Multi-lingual in both verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia, able to converse in decent clear communication. Ability to converse in other local dialects will be an added advantage
