Job summary

OPTIMUM INFOSOLUTIONS (M) SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive Business Analyst to support trade finance system implementation and related stakeholders.

You will document requirements, prepare UAT scenarios, test data, and help coordinate fixes with Trade Operations, Product, Technology, Risk and Compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Banking or related fields.
• 0–8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience or internship exposure in Business Analysis, UAT, system testing, system implementation or trade operations is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of Trade Finance products such as Letters of Credit (LC) and Collections.
• Malaysian candidates only.
• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Renewal: Subject to performance

Responsibilities

• Project & System Implementation: Support Trade Finance System enhancement and implementation projects.
• Gather and document business requirements and review functional specs.
• UAT & Testing: Prepare scenarios, test scripts and data; execute and document results.
• Identify, track and follow up on system defects; validate fixes.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with Trade Operations, Product, Technology, Risk and Compliance.
• System Support: Provide day-to-day issue handling and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Process Improvement: Gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Documentation & Training: Maintain requirements, SOPs, user guides and FAQs.

Job description

This role is suitable for candidates with experience in Business Analysis, UAT, system testing, trade operations or banking operations. Fresh graduates with relevant academic/project exposure and a strong interest in Business Analysis and system implementation are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Project & System Implementation

Support Trade Finance System enhancement and implementation projects.

Gather and document business requirements.

Review functional specifications and ensure alignment with business requirements.

UAT & Testing

Prepare UAT scenarios, test scripts and test data.

Execute UAT and document test results.

Identify, track and follow up on system defects.

Validate fixes and ensure system functionality meets business requirements.

Stakeholder Management

Work closely with Trade Operations, Product, Technology, Risk and Compliance teams.

Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams.

Coordinate issues and follow up on action items through resolution.

System Support

Provide day-to-day support for system-related issues.

Investigate reported issues and coordinate with relevant teams.

Monitor and follow up on system fixes and enhancements.

Process Improvement

Gather user feedback and identify opportunities for process/system improvements.

Support enhancement requests and prioritisation.

Documentation & Training

Maintain requirements, process flows, SOPs and other project documentation.

Develop UAT documentation, user guides and FAQs.

Support user briefings and training for new system features.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Banking or related fields.

0–8 years of relevant experience.

Experience or internship exposure in Business Analysis, UAT, system testing, system implementation or trade operations is an advantage.
