Job summary

About the Role:

• Assist in performing detailed financial analysis including financial modelling, KPI setting and monitoring, benchmarking, profitability analysis, return on investment analysis and return on net asset analysis
• Assist in monitoring business issues and impact to Profit & Loss of the country

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Planning and Analysis

• Assists to ensure the country planning timelines are met
• Assists to ensure the country planning is accurate and reliable
• Responsible to ensure any substantial deviations from the country Planning are instantly reported
• Business cases on store planning
• Responsible to ensure various analytical functions are performed to provide support for the business performance

Reporting

• Responsible on the preparation of monthly and yearly financial reports to business units and cost centres
• Assists to ensure Quarterly Forecast financials accuracy and timeline are met
• Assists on new report project processes

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning

• Perform daily sales reporting and report as well as followed up on any deviations with the respective business units immediately
• Perform weekly comp and forecast sales and metrics at a set dateline
• Perform monthly Turnover and KPI as well as sales vs. plan vs. LY, at a set datelin
• Track expenses and revenues vs. budget and reforecast and analyse fluctuations
• Assist in the budget and forecast process · Business cases for stores must be able to be delivered in a short time if all variables are given
• Provide analysis on actual performance of new stores vs business case Reporting
• Responsible on the monthly reconsolidation of Profit & Loss of the country.
• Prepare stores benchmarking such as occupancy, KPIs, metrics etc.
• Tracking and analysis of all retail metrics: conversion, footfall, UPT, ASP and ATV by store, malls, region and brand

Other Duties

• Attend to ad-hoc request/ assignments as and when required
• Maintain a good relationship with brand, country, finance and other teams
• Must be always able to support in other team functions

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

• Minimum a Diploma/Degree, preferably commerce, business or numerical fields
• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in retail, consumer environments
• Fluent English both in written and spoken. Knowledge of other language is added advantage.
