Job summary

UPS in Malaysia is seeking a Brokerage Supervisor I to lead the brokerage team across KLIA and Johore, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to customs regulations. You will supervise hourly staff and drive performance while maintaining compliance with evolving trade rules.

The role requires 5+ years in brokerage with 3+ years in people management, a relevant diploma/degree, and a Customs Certification.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant Brokerage experience with at least 3 years in people management.
Self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision.
Possess Customs Brokerage Certification.
Good presentation skills and ability to conduct trainings.
Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Supervise Brokerage team in KLIA and Johore.
Oversee and accountable for overall brokerage operations in KLIA and Johore.
Support Brokerage Management in implementing policies and resolving issues.
Monitor compliance with customs regulations and regulatory updates.
Engage with customers to improve satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
Evaluate quality performance and implement process improvements with corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to Customs regulations during entry filing to minimize delays and costs.
