Job summary

Astro Malaysia is seeking a fresh graduate or early-career professional to support broadcast operations. You will collaborate with channel units and external content providers to prepare programs for air, manage media file processing, subtitles, and artwork.

This role requires flexibility to work weekends/public holidays, strong computer skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team in a dynamic media environment.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates with a Diploma/Degree in Mass Communication.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in the broadcast/media/entertainment/telecommunication or related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal channel BU and external content providers for new programs going on air.
• Issue production work orders for media file processing, subtitle processing, and image/poster creation.
• Issue recording work orders for live feed recording.
• Coordinate media file delivery timelines with channel BU and external content providers.
• Work weekends and public holidays for urgent or last-minute requests.
• Operate computers proficiently and work independently as well as in a team.
• Maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes.
• Perform other tasks aligned with department objectives.
• Assist SA in all aspects of work within the department/division.
