Job summary

Publicis Re:Sources in Malaysia is seeking a Broadcast/Post-Production Support Specialist to maintain and operate post-production facilities, manage routing systems, and ensure SLA adherence across projects.

You will work onsite, Monday to Friday 9:00–18:00, collaborating with editors and engineers, troubleshooting Linux/Mac/Windows workflows, and implementing process improvements while staying current with industry tools and formats.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Production, Broadcasting or other relevant fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide both first and second-line support for post-production facility including video edit, 2D/3D graphics and audio mixing; diagnose and resolve issues with post-production and storage environments.
• Set up and operate editing facilities in post-production suites.
• Maintain server, housekeeping, upgrade, secure, system backups and disaster recovery preparation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and colleagues.
• Coach, motivate and guide team members.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and other ad-hoc activities identified by Management.

Main purpose:

The main purpose of this role is to provide media broadcasting support in Re:Sources Malaysia and across Brands as appropriate to ensure all SLA are met.

Key accountabilities:

The key accountabilities are, but not limited to:

• Provide both first and second-line support for the post-production facility including video edit, 2D/3D graphics and audio mixing; diagnose and resolve issues with all aspects of the post-production and storage environments.
• Setting-up and operating editing facilities in post-production suites
• Keep up to date with the industry and changes in technology by building and maintaining a network of contacts and investigating new systems and techniques.
• Maintain server, housekeeping, upgrade, secure, system backups and disaster recovery preparation.
• Communicate effectively with members of the team and other colleagues.
• Coach, motivate and provide guidance to team members.
• Participation in the implementation of process improvement initiatives and other ad-hoc activities identified by Management.
• Other ad-hoc duties.

Experience/Qualifications

• Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of broadcast equipment and contribute to new installation projects.
• Experienced in operating Linux, Mac and Windows computer systems.
• Experienced in operating shared storage systems in a high performance computing environment.
• Experienced in operating Audio and Video routing systems.
• Experienced in troubleshooting software systems.
• Experienced in using test equipment to perform tasks.
• Experienced working with networks and possession of knowledge of IP workflows and video formats.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experiences in Post Production.
• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Production, Broadcasting or other relevant fields.
