Job summary

ONEarth Malaysia is seeking a Marketing & Events Coordinator to develop our brand voice and manage campaigns across social media and community channels. You will create marketing materials, coordinate in-house events, and support external events with vendors and logistics.

You will work closely with management and cross-functional teams, travel for local events, and contribute to content creation and post-event reporting. A portfolio of campaigns is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, branding, content, communications or events.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain brand voice, visual identity and marketing guidelines.
• Plan and execute campaigns across social media, digital platforms and community channels.
• Create posts, videos, presentations, brochures and campaign materials.
• Assist with planning and executing in-house events.
• Support exhibitions, roadshows, community programs and external events.

• Manage marketing and events calendar for timely delivery.
• Collaborate with management, sales, designers and external partners.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain ONEarth’s brand voice, visual identity and marketing guidelines.
• Plan and execute campaigns across social media, digital platforms and community channels.
• Create or coordinate posts, videos, presentations, brochures and campaign materials.
• Help plan, prepare and execute ONEarth’s in-house events.
• Support exhibitions, roadshows, community programs and other external events.
• Coordinate event materials, vendors, schedules, logistics and on-site activities.
• Capture event content and prepare post-event updates or performance reports.
• Manage the marketing and events calendar to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with management, sales leaders, designers, creators and external partners.
• Support product launches, community initiatives and Petpreneur campaigns.
• Monitor campaign performance and recommend practical improvements.
• Check marketing materials for brand accuracy and responsible product, health and income-related claims.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in marketing, branding, content, communications or events.
• Comfortable and happy working around pets, particularly cats.
• Willing to take a hands-on role before, during and after events.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good visual judgment and familiarity with Canva or Adobe applications.
• Comfortable creating briefs and coordinating photography, video and design work.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Able to turn incomplete ideas into polished marketing materials and campaigns.
• Willing to travel locally and work occasional evenings or weekends for events.
• Experience in pet care, wellness, community building, e-commerce or direct selling is an advantage.
• A portfolio or examples of previous campaigns, content or events are preferred.
