Job description

We are looking for a sharp, self-directed Brand Manager to own the personal brand of our CEO, Keat Kuang Lim, and the brand presence of the companies he leads. You will be handed the raw material: years of history, results, testimonials and awards, and direct access to the CEO. You turn that into direction, concepts and finished content, and you run the system that keeps it going across every channel.

Our CEO is an award-winning entrepreneur, leading a group whose companies have each won multiple awards.

The role is demanding: the pace is high, the standards are higher, and you will own your work without being chased.

It rewards people who bring their own point of view, defend it well, and change their mind when the numbers say so.

In return, you will be mentored directly, stretched and trusted early, with your growth and rewards following the contributions you make. You will work alongside the CEO, managers, and junior team members across the group.

The question to ask yourself is, does owning how someone is seen in public excite you, or does the responsibility weigh on you?

What you will do

1. Personal brand ownership: Personal brand ownership: Own the CEO's personal brand end to end, across his website, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, YouTube, and earned media. His companies span several industries, which gives you a wide range of stories to tell.

2. Direction and concepts: Take our history, results, testimonials and awards, and turn them into the direction and the concepts for the CEO's brand and the group's companies, thinking holistically so each idea works across every channel. The CEO has strong views and will be closely involved; you are expected to bring the ideas and to defend them with reasoning.

3. Running the content system: Run the content calendar, the shoot slots, the reserve bank and the deadlines, through to publishing across the website, the social channels and the CEO's own presentation material.

4. Production direction: Brief and steer whoever makes the work, whether an in-house designer, a videographer, or a freelancer, and hold the quality bar on everything before it goes out.

5. Results and reporting: Set quarterly targets with the CEO and read the numbers monthly. When the numbers say you are going to miss, change the plan and find the ideas that get it back on track.

6. Community management: Run the comments, the messages, and the relationships with the people who keep showing up.

7. Public presence: Direct how the CEO shows up in public, on camera, online and offline.

8. Company branding: Build and maintain the brand presence of the group's companies across various industries, aimed at clients and partnerships.

9. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive personal and company information with discretion and professionalism at all times.

What we are looking for

1. Work you can show us: brands or accounts you have run end to end, for a company or for a person, with the results. We will ask you to walk us through one.

2. Able to find the story in raw material: history, results, testimonials, awards. You see the angle, not just the fact, and you know which ideas are worth making.

3. A strong sense of design and presentation: able to direct and quality-check visual content, photos and video, whether producing it yourself or directing others.

4. Fluency across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu, with a working grasp of what performs on each.

5. Keeps a calendar moving: works ahead, holds deadlines, and says early when something is going to slip.

6. Taste you can defend under pressure, and the willingness to be overruled without losing the thread.

7. Anticipates what is needed and solves problems before being asked, rather than waiting for instruction.

8. Learns fast and works with minimal supervision, rarely needing the same thing explained twice.

9. Comfortable being held to output, quality, deadlines, and results.

10. Takes pride in handling personal and confidential matters with discretion, even in situations you may disagree with or find difficult.

11. Tech-familiar and comfortable with digital tools, analytics, scheduling software, and AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude. You will work inside an AI-assisted content system.

12. Fluent English, spoken and written.

13. Mandarin literacy is an advantage, as it opens up Xiaohongshu and Mandarin-speaking audiences.

It is not a requirement, and we welcome fluent candidates of any background.

14. Contactable during non-office hours for urgent matters that arise.

15. Four or more years in brand, social media, content, or communications, with at least one account or brand you can point to as fully yours.

16. Any extra strength in photography, videography, copywriting, public relations, or paid social would be a plus.

What you will be joining

You will be joining a group whose companies have collectively won multiple awards, delivered consistent revenue growth of more than 20% year-on-year, reached eight figures in revenue, and maintained above-industry-average profitability. You will work directly with a seasoned, award-winning entrepreneur, shaping and amplifying his public presence, and be personally mentored and guided by an empathetic business leader along the way.

Our culture
  • The average age of our organisation is around 28, and the desire to grow is a common trait. The people who thrive here take great pride in their work and want to contribute meaningfully and completely, not merely to clock in. Our team is comfortable being called out when something does not meet the standard, with little offence taken personally. We value those who teach and mentor, which keeps the organisation helpful, while not carrying anyone who does not pull their own weight. To enjoy it here, you should appreciate high standards, prioritise growth, and thrive with humility.
  • Our progressive management runs self-evaluation exercises, culture days, team alignment, and town hall sessions. Perks include free parking, groceries, drinks, regular team-building activities, and company trips, and we are soon moving into a new premium office at Pavilion Damansara Heights.
What to expect from the work

You will enjoy this role if you want your work seen rather than filed, and if you take satisfaction in building something that carries a person's name as well as a company's. We dedicate significant resources to developing our people: you will have access to training and mentorship to sharpen your skills and advance your career. As you grow, opportunities to lead and move into other roles will open up, should your growth match what those roles require. Expect real ownership early, and expect to be held to it.

A note

We receive more than 1,000 CVs every month, and we may miss some good candidates. If you believe you fit the role described, please resubmit your application. We celebrate persistence.
