Job summary

SkyGate Integration Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a BOM specialist to create, upload, validate and maintain customer BOMs within the ERP system.

The role ensures BOM accuracy, revision control, and multi-level structures for machine assemblies, aligning with engineering drawings and customer requirements. You will support NPI by establishing product structures in ERP and manage ECN/ECO documentation across departments, coordinating with customers in China and Taiwan to implement changes and review impact

Qualifications

• Must understand bill of materials and revision control.
• Experience integrating ECO/ECN in ERP.
• Ability to coordinate with manufacturing, design, and purchasing teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, upload, validate, and maintain customer BOMs in the ERP system.
• Maintain BOM accuracy, completeness, and revision control.
• Manage multi-level BOM structures for assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Verify BOMs against drawings, specs, and customer requirements.
• Support NPI activities by establishing product structures in ERP.

Job description

Create, upload, validate, and maintain customer BOMs in the ERP system.

Ensure BOM accuracy, completeness, and revision control.

Maintain multi-level BOM structures for machine assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Verify BOMs against engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

Support new product introduction (NPI) activities by establishing product structures in

ERP.

Process and maintain Engineering Change Notice (ECN) and Engineering Change Order

(ECO) documentation.

Coordinate customer ECO/ECN implementation with internal departments.

Review engineering changes and assess impact on BOM, inventory, purchasing, and

production.

Ensure timely execution of engineering changes in ERP and manufacturing

documentation.

3. Customer Coordination

Serve as the primary coordinator for customer BOM-related inquiries.

Liaise with customers from China and Taiwan regarding BOM updates, engineering

changes, and product structure requirements.
