Jora Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain boilers and associated production equipment in the Kuala Lumpur area. The role requires performing scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance, recording hourly boiler activity, and ensuring equipment operates within defined safety specifications.
You will assist in energy savings, monitor utilities consumption, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and provide technical support for new equipment start-ups.

Ensure maintenance of the Boiler in the production area
Record boiler activity on an hourly basis
Configure the output of the Boiler to achieve the safety specification
Report to management on the Boiler situation
Ensure the checklist of Boilers Maintenance
Ensure all production machineries are operated within given conditions every morning before production starts
Carry out repair and maintenance of all electrical facilities, power supply, machineries, production machineries and equipment, warehouse equipment, air handling unit (AHU), safety systems, building maintenance and facilities
Assist the Chargeman to oversee plumbing, fire protection and fire alarm repair and maintenance
Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance for all machineries and equipment
Record and monitor power consumption and assist management in energy savings through equipment operation
Oversee all M&E, plumbing, fire protection and fire alarm systems.
Operates mechanical tools and equipment as required to fabricate or repair industrial parts and equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment, hydraulics, or other mechanical systems including electrical facilities, power supplies, machineries (production machineries, warehouse equipment, air handling unit [AHU], fan coil units [FCU], transformers, air-compressor), safety systems (fire protection equipment), building maintenance and facilities.
Troubleshoots mechanical problems and performs root cause analysis in partnership with operations to solve problems and make improvements.
Provide support of start-up of new equipment to ensure it meets all mechanical design specifications.
Assist to interpret and revise technical data sheets, electrical schematics, I/O wiring and panel drawings.
Respond to Site equipment and process alarms, troubleshoot and make effective repairs.
Maintaining spare part inventory & request for replenishment of critical spare part to reduce possible downtime.
Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance for all machineries & equipment.
Check and optimize the utilities consumption & also detect waste with action plan
Establish and maintain contacts with all machinery, equipment and spare parts suppliers and service companies.
Record keeping for all services & maintenance that are being done.
Prepare necessary reports about the actual situation of equipment, spare parts, repair & service, and utilities.
Create and follow the yearly revisions plan
Training and supervising the production and technical personnel.
Prepare and complete written communications in strict compliance with all Food Safety Management System, Halal, and other regulatory requirements.
Perform assigned duties with a high degree of proficiency and mindfulness of personal safety and those around.
To provide supervision and leadership to Maintenance Technician.
To support the implementation of GMP, HACCP and FSSC22000 of the company and other standards that the company wants to pursue in future.
