Job summary

MENICON MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks a capable Boiler Operator to operate and maintain boilers, air compressors, bag filters and related gas equipment in our manufacturing facility.

You will monitor performance, conduct routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and ensure strict safety, accuracy in logs, and regulatory compliance while supporting continuous production improvements.

Qualifications

• Education level: At least technical certificate or diploma in Engineering discipline or relevant field.
• Certificate: Possess Grade 2 Certificate of Competency as a Boilerman issued by DOSH.
• Year Experience: At least 2-year(s) experience in boiler operations and maintenance.
• Capability: Strong technical knowledge of boiler operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety consciousness.
• Skills: Effective problem-solving, analytical abilities, attention to detail, able to work in a team environment.
• Language: English & Bahasa Malaysia is compulsory.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, air compressor, bag filter and gas related equipment to ensure continuous production.
• Monitor performance, conduct routine maintenance, and troubleshoot promptly.
• Record logs of boiler operations and maintenance for regulatory compliance and future reference.
• Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and collaborate with other teams to meet production requirements.
• Respond to emergencies such as leaks or pressure issues to mitigate hazards.
