Job summary

CSEM MARITIME SDN BHD is seeking a Boarding Officer to act as the primary liaison between the Vessel Master, the Ship Owner, and Port Authorities. You will ensure ships enter, stay, and depart ports efficiently while complying with local regulations.

The role includes managing operation documents and vessel clearances, inward/outward clearance for cargo vessels, berthing and reporting, port clearance, and handling husbandry and crew matters.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of port agency shipping operations experience is required.
• Good knowledge of port and immigration regulations.
• Good team player and communication skill.
• Problem solver with a positive attitude.

• Attendance for inward / Outward Clearance for Cargo Operation Vessel & Owner Matter Vessel
• ETA Notice / Berthing Prospect / Arrival Report & Departure Report
• Handle all the vessel inward/ outward clearance efficiently.
• Handle vessel clearance at port
• Prepare & handle necessary document at Port Authority.
• Handle husbandry and crew matters.

About the role

The Boarding Officer acts as the primary liaison between the Vessel Master (Captain),the Ship Owner, and the Port Authorities. You are responsible for ensuring the ship enters, stays, and departs the port as efficiently as possible while complying with all local regulations.
