Job summary

Control Solutions Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a BMS System Engineer to join our Puchong-based engineering team in Selangor on a full-time basis. You will design, implement, and maintain Building Management Systems to optimise building performance and energy efficiency.

The role requires 2–3 years in BMS design or commissioning, strong knowledge of HVAC controls, and proficiency with BACnet or equivalent platforms. collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems) or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in BMS design, integration, or commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of building automation systems, control strategies, and HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in BMS platforms and programming languages such as BACnet or equivalent systems.
• Experience with design software and tools relevant to building systems engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose complex system issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional certification in building automation (e.g., BACnet, ETS) preferred.
• Understanding of energy efficiency principles and sustainable building practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure BMS solutions tailored to meet building requirements.
• Program and integrate BMS controllers, sensors, and field devices with HVAC, lighting, security, and fire safety.
• Develop system documentation including schematics, control sequences, and manuals.
• Conduct commissioning and testing of BMS installations to meet performance specs.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors for BMS integration.
• Monitor and analyse system performance data to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Stay current with industry standards, codes and emerging BMS technologies.
• Train building operators and maintenance staff on BMS operation and basic troubleshooting.

Control Solutions Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a BMS System Engineer to join our engineering team in Puchong, Selangor on a full-time basis. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining Building Management Systems (BMS) that optimise building performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort. As a BMS System Engineer, you will be responsible for translating complex system requirements into practical solutions whilst ensuring seamless integration across multiple building technologies and platforms.

Key responsibilities

Design and configure BMS solutions tailored to meet specific building requirements and client objectives

Programme and integrate BMS controllers, sensors, and other field devices with building systems including HVAC, lighting, security, and fire safety

Develop system documentation including schematics, control sequences, and operational manuals

Conduct commissioning and testing of BMS installations to ensure all systems operate correctly and meet performance specifications

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BMS-related issues during operation and maintenance phases

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering) or equivalent qualification
