Job summary

Samsung C&T is seeking a BMS Engineer to join our data centre project team in Puncak Alam. You will coordinate, supervise, and support the installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of the Building Management System to ensure compliance with project requirements and operating standards.

The role requires a diploma or degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field, at least 5 years in BMS or building automation, and familiarity with BACnet and Modbus; data centre

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in BMS, BAS, or building automation.
• Experience in data centre, commercial building, or industrial projects is advantageous.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls, PLC/DDC, and communication protocols.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review BMS drawings, specifications, control philosophies, and I/O schedules.
• Coordinate BMS works with M&E, electrical, mechanical, and other specialist systems.
• Supervise installation of BMS controllers, sensors, actuators, control panels, and communication networks.
• Coordinate BMS integration with HVAC, electrical monitoring, fire alarm, and other relevant systems.
• Conduct and support point-to-point testing, functional testing, and IST.
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate rectification of defects and commissioning problems.
• Monitor installation progress, quality, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Review testing records, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation.
