Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking a Biomedical Technician to manage biomedical equipment across the hospital, focusing on Planned Preventive Maintenance, cost control, and risk mitigation. The role includes scheduling, vendor oversight, and contract administration.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, excellent English communication, and the ability to coordinate with hospital engineers and external partners. Travel and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
• Proven ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties reflecting the hospital, the brand and the Company.
• Willingness to travel and work after office hours/weekends/public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule for biomedical equipment.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of new medical equipment and devices.
• Prepare and manage service contracts with vendors.
• Oversee service vendors within the hospital and participate in quality initiatives.
• Compile monthly reports on maintenance activities.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and MSQH standards.
