Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a BIM/MEP Modeler to create architectural, mechanical HVAC, piping, plumbing, and electrical models. The role requires ensuring alignment with BIM Execution Plans and coordinating changes with design disciplines on construction projects.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in the construction industry, hands-on Autodesk Revit experience, and strong communication skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical/HVAC/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in the construction industry with Autodesk Revit and BIM software.
• Strong communication skills and high integrity.
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing & Sanitary, Process Pipe and/or Electrical models.
• Ensure models align with BIM Execution Plan and project workflow criteria.
• Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external design disciplines for changes.
• Manage BIM technology implementation and ensure quality deliverables on projects.
• Communicate BIM model changes clearly to project teams.

Creating Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing & Sanitary, Process Pipe and/or Electrical models;

Ensure that the model aligns with the standards and goals set in BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria;

Collaborate and coordinate internally or/ and externally with other disciplines design-changes and model changes;

Manage BIM technology implementation and ensure quality deliverables on construction projects;

Understand and ensure any changes in BIM Models are effectively communicated to project teams.

Requirements: -

• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ HVAC/ Mechatronics/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
• At least 3 years working experience in the construction industry with hands on experience in Autodesk Revit and related Building Information Modeling software;
• High level of integrity drives and result oriented;
• Able to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines;
• Ability to multi task, working on several projects at any one time;
• Good interpersonal and communication skill;
• Willing to travel outstation as and when required.
